‘Power Dance Fitness’ program allows loosing a maximum of weight in a record of time. It empowers, tones up and strengthens the body in intense ways, to generate a maximum of advantage for the cardio vascular system.
The inspiring groove of music from international wide spread roots, i.e. Afro, Kuduro, Brazil, Soca, Latin American rhythms and more, culminates in a meticulously built up choreography, very dynamic and easy to learn.
‘Power Dance Fitness’ strengthens the heart, the main muscle groups of the body, especially bottom, arms & legs and the abdominals.
‘Power Dance Fitness’ allows the participants to meet and make positive contact, enjoy and have fun in two or in groups, through dancing games, arm- and legwork, inspired by ballroom dance and “Battle”.
It allows people with no dancing experience what so ever to learn and enjoy how to combine aerobic with dance elements, in a very easy way.
The ‘Power Dance Fitness’ programme impresses through its dynamic and intensity, especially observed and experienced by the participants themselves, during and after every lessons and course. They realise with astonishment and delight how fit they feel and how easy they loose weight with its help.
Content of the ‘Power Dance Fitness’ Program
- Warm up: Includes a compulsory warm up, preparing the locomotive system for workout. Body temperature rises and articulations relax. This dancing part contains many aerobic elements, beginning very naturally with ‘step touch’, claps and rhythmic movements of arms and legs, with high dancing flair.
- The Work Out part: Is a mixture of dynamic choreographic dancing routines and elements of boxing, body toning, body combat and jogging as well as fun play momentum. All performed upon connecting non stop music, with two short phases of slow pace, to keep good control of heart beat and body temperature. One to three musical arrangements are being performed with playful animation or battle dance to increase the team spirit and sense of unity, to enjoy togetherness and joint experience, which enhances a kind of festiveness throughout sport activity.
- Cool Down and Stretching: The complete relaxation of the whole body and all muscles is key at this stage.

‘Power Dance Fitness’ Programme, captivates by the many different aerobic dynamic variations and elements, allows calorie burning within record time by performing precise, repetitive, simple but efficient and choreographically attractive movements.
Within the ‘Power Dance Fitness’ programme elements of Tae Boe, Boxing, Body Combat & Attack, Jogging and Ballroom Dance are being combined subtly. It allows fortification of muscles, especially abdominals, arms, legs and allows body shaping through calorie burning, protects the heart by strengthening it by this work out.
Short Term:
- Reduction and stabilisation of the heart rate, in training and recovery period (less stress for the heart)
- Blood tension decrease and stabilisation. The heart gets relieve with the task to pump blood through the arteries, the blood myocardial muscle is being strengthened.
- The amount of blood per contraction increases, in action and resting state.
Middle Term:
- Strengthening the heart and the heart rate
- Maximum production of oxygen, generating and allowing an optimum quality of cardiovascular performance
- Increasing performance in short term action, without oxygenation
These positive effects develop over a period of a few weeks, under the premises that work out is being performed regularly over weeks and months, at least 3 times a week for a minimum time of 30 minutes. On the other hand, when you stop your training it will take only between 3 and max. 6 weeks till all positive results disappear. This varies from person to person.

The pieces of music are selected with great attention and care from the best actual dance rhythms: Soca, Kuduro, Afro Beat, Brazil, Latino Rock, Pop und international Disco Sound.
Choreographies
Realised and harmonised considering the groove of the music and the text.
The movements are easy to perform and follow for all age and fitness categories of participants. Always focussed with an eye on dancing aerobic, lyrics and characteristics of different programmes in combination.
Movement Flow
The steps and movements are such of every day life, easy and persistent.
All dance steps and movements are from the category of Body Combat, Boxing, Aerobic, Partner and Group play sessions. All in combination and coordination with music style and text.
The choice of music and choreography are the result of a meticulously made and approved decision by the Patrick Juvet Baka and choreography committee.
The program ‘Power Dance Fitness’ is a more rhythmic, dance wise appealing and physically efficient program than the already well known programs of the aerobic dance fitness. We combine 40 % dance, 40 % fitness and 20 % aerobic or in other terms; 50 % fun and 50 % fitness.
